Unique to Whitstable!
Be a part to Whitstable’s heritage by creating your very own Grotter! This tradition has a history that surpasses the Oyster Festival and is still one of its most popular and well-attended events. Grab a bucket of oyster shells and start building! As evening draws in, the sea front becomes illuminated as the grotters are lit by candlelight. A truly glorious show that will create a lasting memories.
