Whitstable is easily accessible by rail with South Eastern who run a High Speed Javelin train from London St Pancras International to Whitstable taking just over 60 minutes. Alternatively regular trains are available from London Victoria normally taking just over 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Trains from the East travel via Ramsgate with a journey time of only 34 minutes. Whitstable railway station is a short ten-minute walk from the town centre.

Train Station Shuttle
A shuttle bus will operate from the train station to Tankerton Circus roundabout on the Saturday and Sunday of the festival. The bus will be operational from
Saturday 09:30 to 21:00
Sunday 09:30 to 19:00
The bus will utilise the same route and drop off / pick up points as the park and ride buses however it will service the train station only.
The Crab & Winkle Way is a popular cycling route between Canterbury and Whitstable, a picturesque and enjoyable way to travel to the Festival for children as well as adults. For more information about cycle routes visit www.kent.gov.uk/cycling or www.cyclestreets.net.
Whitstable has a regular bus service to and from Canterbury and Herne Bay via the Triangle route. The 4 / 4A / 4X travel from Herne Bay through Whitstable while the 6 / 6A / 6X travelling from Canterbury through Whitstable. Additional services are also available via the 36 to and from Margate and the 5 from Sittingbourne to Canterbury via Faversham and Tyler Hill. Various coaches are anticipated to travel to Whitstable from around the country for the event. The only Coach Car Park available to and in close proximity to the festival is Tankerton road car park where car parking bays will have been suspended for coach parking purposes.
